Proxy FAQs

What is a proxy form?

A proxy form allows you to designate another person (your proxy) to vote on your behalf with your co-op shares.

Why would I fill out a proxy form?

  • By designating a proxy you make sure your votes are counted if you can’t attend the shareholders meeting. Even if you plan to be there, unexpected things can come up, and having a proxy in place protects your vote.
  • Proxies also help the shareholders meeting reach a quorum, which is the minimum number of represented shares needed to hold a valid election.

What happens if I fill out a proxy form, and then attend the meeting?

Your proxy form will be discarded, and you will be able to cast your own ballot.

How can I submit a proxy form?

The proxy form for the special meeting on 12 March 2026 can be found on the NaBors Apartments website. You may designate one of our candidates as your proxy and email the completed form back to us at naborsunited@gmail.com, or contact us for an in-person pickup/delivery.
